The Semarak Jejak Kata Kreatif is set to invigorate Semarang City with a range of community events taking place from May 19-21, 2023. The Old City Area of Semarang will be the vibrant backdrop for various activities, including engaging talk shows, the Semarang Night Carnival, the Indonesian Creative Words Discussion Forum, mesmerizing orchestral performances, captivating performing arts displays, dazzling fashion shows, a lively local market meet-up, productive business meetings, enlightening creative economy coaching sessions, delightful live cooking demonstrations, enjoyable movie screenings, and intriguing exhibitions showcasing creative economy products.

Among those excited about this event are the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) community, who have been invited to participate. MSME representatives from 109 cities and regions within and outside of Central Java province will be in attendance, including Firman Setyaji, the CEO of Bengok Craft, representing Semarang Regency.

“As a local business, we are thrilled to be a part of these entertaining events for the people of Semarang and its surroundings. This event creates an opportunity for mutual support and benefit among various parties,” Firman expressed with enthusiasm.

“In addition to the benefits for us, visitors will also enjoy numerous promotions and discounts when purchasing creative economy products,” Firman added.

In addition to exploring and purchasing products from MSMEs, visitors will have the chance to meet prominent figures who will be present at the event, such as Sandiaga Uno, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, and Ganjar Pranowo, the Governor of Central Java.

The official opening of the 2023 Creative Footsteps is scheduled for Friday evening (May 19, 2023) at 7:00 PM local time at the Marba Building intersection, featuring the Semarang Night Carnival and an enchanting orchestral performance.

The following two days will be filled with delightful music and dance performances, insightful talk shows and coaching sessions, captivating live cooking demonstrations showcasing creative culinary talents, and engaging exhibitions of innovative and artistic products.

All these activities will be held at various locations within the Old City of Semarang, including the Marba Building, Oudetrap, Creative Hub, and Garuda Park intersections.

Entrance to this event is free, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the festivities.

With the energy and vibrancy of this event, it is anticipated that it will significantly contribute to the growth of the local economy in the Central Java region and its neighboring areas.
