TRIBUNJATENG.COM, UNGARAN – Secretary of Commission B DPRD Semarang Regency, The Hok Hiong criticized a number of public services, including mentoring micro-enterprises, which were felt to be inadequate.

According to him, public service officers should serve citizens wholeheartedly, quickly, sincerely, and thoroughly.

He stated this during the Public Consultation Forum which was held by the Semarang Regency Diskumperindag in the office hall, Monday (19/12/2022).

The Hok explained, the government should be able to make policies and develop new ways of serving the public.

On the other hand, the Head of the Semarang Regency Diskumperindag, Heru Cahyono said, in the future, prospective micro-entrepreneurs would be made easier by the Integrated Business Service Center (PLUT).

According to him, PLUT would become a center for activities and the development of small businesses and cooperatives for residents who want to start their businesses.

PLUT is expected to be a means of optimizing public services for his party to better serve the community.

With the PLUT building located in Lopait Village, Tuntang District, Semarang Regency, Heru hopes that it would bring out more MSME actors for regional economic progress.

PLUT, whose building has been completed and would operate in 2023, has various facilities.

Such as a training room with a capacity of 25 people, a business development consulting room, a place for marketing business products, a production photo room, coffee equipment, a craft business room, co-working space, and so on.

“Even those who don’t know what business to do, can come right away and consult our officers,” he told Tribunjateng.com, Monday (19/12/2022).

For information, the construction of the activity center and the development of small businesses and cooperatives was financed using the 2022 special allocation fund (DAK) worth around IDR 7 billion. (*)
