Bengok Craft’s expansion in expanding its products to provide souvenirs for corporates is increasingly evident. This time, Bengok Craft won the trust of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small Medium Enterprises to provide 150 hampers bag packages.
This was conveyed to Firman Setyaji as the owner of Bengok Craft on Saturday (12/25).
“Yes, on Sunday we have an event in Kesongo village where there is an opening ceremony and we are appointed to provide hampers bags for invited guests,” said Firman.
The event is the opening of the Cooperative and MSME Integrated Business Service Center (PLUT KUMKM). The opening ceremony would be held on Tuesday, 27 December 2022 in the former PIKK Lopait building, involving local officials. In addition, this event would also be attended by Vice President Ma’ruf Amin as one of the invited guests.
PLUT KUMKM is a one-stop-service for cooperatives, MSMEs and entrepreneurs that provides comprehensive and integrated business assistance services and other empowerment to increase productivity, added value, capacity and quality of work, competitiveness and business recovery for cooperatives, MSEs and Entrepreneurs. ,” said the secretary of the Kemenkopukm, Arif R Hakim when opening and giving directions at the Region I PLUT KUMKM Management Coordination Meeting, Friday (8/4/2022) in Semarang, Central Java Province.
At present, the government is indeed incessantly supporting MSMEs so that they are able go to the next level, such as optimizing facilities to develop MSMEs and a network of creative economy ecosystems. Apart from that, the government also provides support to MSMEs, one of which is intensifying the habit of using local products as souvenirs for government events. One of them is the provision of souvenirs by Bengok Craft.
Firman said at the time that these 150 packages were also thanks to the support from Bank Jateng which funded the purchase of the souvenirs.
“We only provide the hamper bags, while the contents would be MSME products that are accommodated by the Souvenir Entrepreneurs Association (ASPO),” continued Firman.
To fulfill numerous orders in a tight timeline, fortunately Firman has a solid production team so that he could fulfill requests from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs.
“We empower the surrounding community to become our artisans, there is a family whose members have been part of our team for a long time, so many orders don’t matters,” concluded Firman.
This trust to provide hampers ia such a real support by the government. Firman believes that in the future MSMEs would always be able to survive despite the challenges and threats of a recession in the upcoming year.
