The World Cup was held some time ago. This spurred many industries to hold events with the World Cup theme.
Including one of the hospitality industries in the city of Semarang, namely the Novotel Hotel which also enlivened the event at the moment of the World Cup. Apart from presenting the World Cup viewing event, the Novotel Hotel also presented a MSME exhibition with the title MSME Goal Fair, where it invited creative industries such as MSMEs in the Semarang area and its surroundings to display and promote their products in the hotel area. According to the title, it is hoped that this fair would have more and more MSME products with the goal of selling. This fair is held on 25 November – 4 December 2022 from 9 am to 8 pm. Located in the lobby of the Novotel hotel, guests are able to shop around as well as buy local creations such as food, arts and crafts. Actually, not only hotel guests, but general visitors are able to come to see this MSME Goal Fair.
Bengok Craft is one of the UMKM curated by Novotel Hotel which was given the opportunity to take part in this Fair. Visitors are able to purchase Bengok Craft creations here on 25-27 November 2022.
Water hyacinth creations such as slippers, bags, hats, books, and others are also displayed in this event fair.
Firman Setyaji as the owner of Bengok Craft said (11/26) that visitors who haven’t had the opportunity to visit Bengok Craft need not worry because in the future it would be possible for Novotel to hold another exhibition with a different exhibition theme. Firman also said that his creations could not only be purchased directly, but online through the marketplace.
However, Firman said that there is a special price if visitors directly buy their products at the Novotel Hotel.
The MSME Fair is indeed one of the supports made by the Novotel Hotel to advance the small business in Semarang and its surroundings. This exhibition has been routinely held at certain events, so that more MSME products are known by the public at large.
