The Regional Industry and Trade Office (Disperindag) Yogyakarta made a working visit to one of the SMEs in Semarang Regency, namely Bengok Craft in the context of a comparative study of quality management training and the management of SME centers (Special Allocation Fund for Non-physical 2022). The visit was carried out in order to coordinate, synchronize, and implement industrial empowerment and community participation.
This study has been carried out on 4 November 2022 at 11:30 local time until it is finished. Located on the 2nd floor of Daringan Kesongo Culture, the comparative study was not only attended by both parties, but also various entrepreneurial activists such as the Sahitya Group and also participants from Kulon Progo.
The event began with a speech from the Co-founder of Bengok Craft, namely Astaria. After that, a prayer was held led by the Disperindag Party from Mr. Abdur Rozaq. Before entering the main event, a comedy theater performance from Sanggar Tuk Songo was also presented, where the performers also came from the Sahitya Group.
Furthermore, it was the turn of the Founder of Bengok Craft, Firman Setyaji, who presented a documentary video about Bengok Craft before finally Firman presented the existence of Bengok Craft at its inception, the steps that he and his partner, trusted craftsmen, took in developing the Bengok Craft business. It also explained the comprehensive plans that would be carried out in the future.
After FIrman’s presentation, Astaria continued with his presentation on mapping methods and business management strategies based on BMC (Business Model Canvassing). This method is essential for exploring ideas and concepts about entrepreneurship in visual form.
This comparative study program is really essential in increasing the knowledge of these groups in an effort to increase entrepreneurial insight that could be applied by them. Firman added (11/06) that this comparative study would not stop here, yet there would be continuity such as real steps in developing business by related parties so that the impact felt is obvious.
