The Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) in Central Java again will hold the Regional Business Forum (FORBISDA). This activity will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022. Located at Graha Angkasa Pura, Ahmad Yani Airport, Semarang, this event brings the theme “Moving forward to fly towards Golden Indonesia”. In accordance with the theme, this activity will present a series of events, including the Business Expo which presents as many as 28 MSME tenants filled from various sectors such as culinary, craft, fashion, technology, automotive, property, and others.

Bengok Craft is one of the SMEs (UMKM) from Semarang Regency who participated in enlivening the Business Expo. Bengok Craft is a community-based community empowerment business that processes water hyacinth into various crafts.

Firman Setyaji, as the owner of Bengok craft said on (09/24) that his party will display its superior craft products such as slippers, bags, books, bracelets, and many more.

In addition, he added that by participating in FORBISDA, businessmen will have closer relationships and increase opportunities for collaboration to face the post-pandemic economic era. In addition to the Business Expo, there is also a Business Competition event where MSME tenants compete to get the best stand/tenant based on an assessment from the jury. FORBISDA also holds a Business Matching, which is a meeting between businessmen and related stake holders. Another interesting event was the Business Seminar where there were 3 candidates for the chairman of HIPMI as business speakers. They are Akbar Himawan Buchari, Bagas Ardhadirgha, and Anggawira. FORBISDA II is of course aimed as a meeting place for businessmen in facing the era of globalization, where businessmen must be ready to participate in improving the economy, especially in Central Java with this era. In addition, this meeting is also expected that HIPMI members will rise from adversity due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit some time ago.
