Bengok Craft is a sustainability business that always expands its products to various levels of society. Its success did not escape the community’s support for Bengok Craft’s creations. Such as the presence of Bengok Craft in an entrepreneurship and cultural seminar entitled “Embarking on Fundamental Resetting”. The seminar which was presented on September 6, 2022 at the PMBS Auditorium at Prasetya Mulya University divided the themes into two interesting ones. The first session was “Art Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Living” which presented Dr. Iwan Gunawan, M.Si, Nan T. Achnas, Ph.D, Ivan Chen, and Aulia Ardista Wiradarmo, M.Sc.
While the second session raised the theme “Empowerment of the Cultural Potential of the Borobudur Area” which presented Hilmar Farid, M.Pd, Seno Joko Suyono, M.Hum, Dr. Martin Surajaya, M. Hum, and M. Setiawan Kusmulyono, M.M. One of the speakers in the second session, M. Setiawan Kusmulyono, gave a form of support to one of the MSMEs while presenting his presentation. The Prasetya Mulya University lecturer wore a Bengok Craft hat that combined with his casual clothes. Mr. Kelly, as he is known, often wears MSME products as a form of support for local products. In addition, he also happens to be a business mentor who often provides input on business development, such as Bengok Craft.
“He is our business mentor who always supports our business, we once consult to him once a month regarding our business,” said Firman Setyaji as the owner of Bengok Craft.
This seminar event is actually part of commemoration of 40th anniversary Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. It presented several interesting activities.
Several events including ceremonial event, puppet performance by the dalang Ki Jlitheng Suparman and digital music dance by the Student Activity Club (SAC) of Prasetiya Mulya University in collaboration with the Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ).
In addition, other activities were also presented such as birthday creative video competitions, miss gatherings and alumni gatherings, Nusantara food seminars, running competitions, golf competitions, quizzes about campus life, business plan competitions, and book launching.
The peak event was held on Tuesday (6/9/2022) at 08.30-13.00 WIB at the 3rd Floor Auditorium of Prasetiya Mulya Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) Building, South Tangerang, Banten. This event was also available online via YouTube live streaming.
