In order to enliven the G20 meeting in Bangka Belitung, a number of parties also participated in this major international event. One of them is the Directorate of Processing and Quality Development of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) which participated in presenting its MSME partners to showcase their superior products in Bangka Belitung. One of them is Bengok Craft, which participates in displaying its unique handicraft products there. During the showcase, Bengok Craft presented a very charming home-decoration craft. The creations displayed are trays, baskets, boxes, and many more.

These export quality products are also displayed along with food SMEs (processed fish) from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. It was also seen that visitors from various circles, both from G20 guests and the general public were also interested in buying MSME products.
“We are very grateful to be able to take another step in the G20 activities in Bangka Belitung after in Bali and Solo. We hope that more people will know the potential of this very valuable water hyacinth craft,” said Firman Setyaji as the owner of Bengok Craft (09/10)
The MSME EXPO G20 Bangka Belitung activity which was held from 7-9 September 2022 in Sheraton Hotel Belitung was part of the G20 Bangka Belitung which discussed two themes, namely The Development of Indonesia’s Blue Economy Roadmap and Harnessing the Ecosystem of Aerospace Industry in Indonesia.
Deputy for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Planning and Development (PPN)/Bappenas Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti explained that the meeting of development ministers will discuss a number of crucial issues. Indonesia as the G20 presidency will include issues of the blue economy (blue economy).
According to her, the transformation towards a blue economy is an important agenda in national and global economic development, because environmental damage is a serious threat. Therefore, the G20, which consists of countries with major economic powers, needs to discuss this issue.
