After participating in the first Teras Indonesia on March 6-19, 2022 at IKEA Alam Sutera, this time Bengok Craft is back to greet visitors, especially for those who haven’t had the chance to stop at the Bengok Craft stand at Teras Indonesia Ikea Alam Sutera.

“The hope is that with the presence of Teras Indonesia for the second time at IKEA Alam Sutera, visitors who haven’t had time to stop by can come to take a look at our creations there. Also, visitors who have already come to our booth on the last event are able to come again to look our newest creations,” said Firman Setyaji as met him on Sunday (07/31) at the booth.

Teras Indonesia this time was held on July 31 to August 27, 2022. Inviting several curated MSMEs, such as Bengok Craft, Teras Indonesia became part of IKEA’s support for Indonesian creative products, especially in the furniture and handicrafts.

In addition, Teras Indonesia also presents sustainable products. Sustainable products are those products that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits while protecting public health and the environment over their whole life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials until the final disposal. Therefore, it is very appropriate for Bengok Craft to join this showcase considering that Bengok Craft produces handicrafts made from natural ingredients, namely water hyacinth. From a social perspective, Bengok Craft also empowers the community in the process of making crafts. Instead of using machines in this modern era, Bengok Craft still uses human power, namely the handmade concept. That means the craft is still made manually from the hands of craftsmen.

Meanwhile, from an economic perspective, Bengok Craft’s business is not only for personal gain, but also for improving the standard of living of the economy. Considering that the craftsmen who were previously only ordinary people, are now skilled and can generate money from water hyacinth creations.

For those of you who are curious and want to know more about Bengok Craft, you may come directly to our booth at Teras Indonesia IKEA Alam Sutera from 10 am to 9 pm. You may invite your family, friends, or colleagues when shopping at IKEA. You may find unique and creative crafts as well as aesthetics such as home decor furniture, sandals, books, bracelets, tote bags, slingbags, jackets, hats, aprons, and many more. Get interesting promos during the showcase.

Teras Indonesia in collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperation and SME (Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises) supports SMEs in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition, the presence of MSMEs here aims to assist them to compete globally and become world-class producers.
