KAB SEMARANG. This time, Firman Setyaji, owner of the Bengok Craft handicraft business, shared his experience after appearing on the instastory of the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo.

Firman revealed that after his product advertisement was reposted on Ganjar, his business began to flood with orders. In the last two years, his business has started to get busy with orders for Eid parcels. Even this year’s Eid orders rose 100 percent.

“Alhamdulillah, orders have begun to appear. And from Ganjar as well, for the past two years, delivery parcels have been routinely ordered, the first is 120 pieces, and this year there are 250 pieces,” he said when met at his production site in Kesongo Village, Tuntang District, Semarang Regency, Saturday ( 14/5/2021).

Firman said that his business is a community-based business that processes water hyacinth into various handicrafts.

“We started this business in 2019. So, this is our fourth year,” he said. So far, the marketing has only been through Instagram and Whatsapp. One of them is through Lapak Ganjar.

“If we have the advantage of Instagram, we can reach a wider audience with the national market. One of them is in Lapak Ganjar. At first, we tried it and thanked God it was reposted,” he explained.

In addition to the increased turnover, Firman also said he was delighted because, thanks to Lapak Ganjar, he had the opportunity to exhibit abroad. “For this year, we are starting to go global. This May, there will be an exhibition in Japan, and this is also the direct or indirect impact of Lapak Ganjar,” he said.
