In addition to increasing sales, MSME products are expected to be widely known by the public or it can be said that this is one of the MSME branding strategies to go to the next level.

As has been done by the Central Java Cooperatives and MSMEs Office in collaboration with Blibli, which is one of the largest E-commerce sites in Indonesia. The two parties hold an exhibition of MSMEs throughout Central Java at the Semarang-Batang KM 360 Rest Area. This event, which is held from 27 April-7 May 2022, presents curated superior MSMEs such as food and beverages, crafts, fashion, and others.

Bengok Craft is one of the handicraft SMEs that participated in this event. MSMEs from Semarang Regency process natural materials, namely water hyacinth, into various valuable handicrafts.

In this rest area, travelers who pass through and stop by can find unique creations such as handbags, tote bags, sling bags, slippers, pillows, bracelets, and key chains.

The price is also very affordable, ranging from 10 thousand to hundreds of thousands. While resting in this rest area, you may visit Bengok Craft in this rest area. After that, you may buy the creations, perfect for gifts for the family.

The owner of Bengok Craft, Firman Setyaji when met at the rest area, said that the steps taken by the Coordination and UMKM Service and Blibli were considered very appropriate in helping SMEs at a time like this when the pandemic will begin to become endemic. (05/03)
