In the One-piece anime, there is a main character named Monkey D Luffy. The distinctive character of Luffy is wearing head accessories in the form of a straw hat or Japanese Mugiwara. This anime made Firman adapt the Mugiwara Hat to one of his water hyacinth creations, namely the Bengok Mugiwara Hat. Instead of using straw, Bengok Mugiwara Hat employs water hyacinth as raw material. The harvested water hyacinth is dried and made like Luffy’s signature hat. Although the material is different, the impression of this hat remains the same, namely an eco-friendly hat.
